 “I wanted to be able to capture all of my great ideas, but I did not want to have to take a break from whatever I was doing in order to write my ideas down. I thought that it would be great if I could speak my ideas out loud, and my invention would write it all down.” Algenon Ashford-Inveor/Owner The idea for the “Algenon’s Personal Diary” came to Mr. Ashford knowing it is much easier to speak into a device versus having to write everything down. With the proposed “Algenon’s Personal Diary”, a person could upgrade their mobile device or computer to a voice–interactive approach to creating information and communication content. Mr. Ashford is single, and he works as a contractor. Previously, he worked in sales. He earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology at the Fayetteville State University. In his available leisure time, he enjoys reading and traveling. The “Algenon’s Personal Diary” is Mr. Ashford’s first attempt at submitting an invention to industry. Depending upon how this project progresses, he might someday again consider another invention to pursue.
