It's black history month 2017 how have we used these 28 days to improve our conditions here in America? Dr. Carter G. Woodson created black history week in 1926, the second week of February to commemorate the birthdays of Frederick Douglass and Abraham Lincoln. In today's episode we examined black America's ideas surrounding black history month, how much of our history is still uncovered, how we can use technology to learn more about our past, and how we can help our youth make a positive connection to our stories. KAT HARVEY was raised by my loving mother and grandfather in Washington, D.C. I was taught at an early age that there was no such thing as impossible and that success principle is what kept me from putting the limits on what I can achieve in my lifetime. I started my show on YouTube called "Success Nothing Less", #KHSNL in which I interviewed A-list celebrities and people of influence from around the world. I believe that everyone has a story to share and by people watching my show it will positively impact them to make their dreams become a reality. It is my vision to turn this project into a radio show and national tv show where even more lives will be changed by engaging in the #KHSNL Show. I had to make a decision to start becoming the person I wanted to be and then everything I ever dreamed of became attracted to me. I have been able to spend more time with the ones I love, travel worldwide helping others, achieve financial independence and MOST IMPORTANTLY LIVE MY LIFE BY DESIGN.
