On Season 5 Episode 23 of The Fix Sports Podcast, Joseph shines his HBCU spotlight on Florida A&M University offensive tackle Calvin Ashley for declaring his for the 2021 NFL Draft, Norfolk State University standout basketball player Jermaine Bishop signs a pro deal with a Germany pro league basketball team, Florida A&M University women's basketball player Shalaunda Burney-Robinson also signs a professional basketball deal to play in the Chez Republic. In HBCU news, North Carolina A&T State University's football team is searching for a way to play football in 2020. World Team Tennis player Danielle Collins was dismissed from the tournament for leaving the bubble and leaving the state which was a violation of their COVID-19 protocol. Tracy McGrady and Jermaine O'Neal are starting a sports agency. New York Jets owner Woody Johnson is in the hot seat for allegedly making racist and sexist comments. Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. are scheduled to fight in an exhibition match on September 12th. SPORTS ARE BACK!!!! The WNBA and MLB regular seasons have started and, the NBA preseason has started.
