In HBCU news, a pay for play HBCU basketball league could be coming soon. Carolina Panthers owner Jerry Richardson is selling his team; Diddy, Steph Curry and others are interested in buying the team. Zeke Elliot is returning to the field from a six game suspension, the college football bowl games are underway, Maame Biney is the first black female speed skater to make the Olympics, the Big Baller Brand looks to start its own league that rivals the NCAA, and the University of Oklahoma’s basketball player Trae Young is a baller. This weeks rant was aimed at Skip Bayless for continuous hating on LeBron James. Tune in!!

On episode 16 of The Fix Sports Podcast, host Joseph Ward puts his HBCU spotlight on the winner of The Celebration Bowl North Carolina A&T University, who are the 2017 HBCU National Champions. In HBCU news Howard University and Bethune Cookman University will be playing each other in the 2018 Circle City Classic. Marshall Faulk, Ike Taylor, Heath Evans, Warren Sapp, Warren Moon, Eric Weinberger, and Donovan McNabb were all accused of sexual assault by Jami Cantor, Panthers owner Jerry Richardson is under investigation for sexual misconduct, Joseph gives a recap of the first week of the college football bowl season, the January 6th FCS championship game is set between James Madison and North Dakota State, he gives an update of the NBA season, and Giancarlo Stanton was traded to the Yankees from the Miami Marlins. The weekly rant was aimed in full force at Charles Barkley for hating on LaVar Ball and the success his family has gained over the last 8 months. Tune in!!!

Join Joseph Ward for episode 15 of The Fix Sports Podcast, this weeks HBCU spotlight is on Coach Willie Simmons for being unofficially named the new head football coach of the Florida A&M University Rattlers. In HBCU news, Cheyney University will be losing  its football program due to financial issues with the university. Willie Taggart has been named the new head football coach for Florida State University, the University of Tennessee has hired defensive guru Jeremy Pruitt as its new head football coach after naming former coach Phillip Fulmer as the athletic director. The College Football Playoffs and bowl games are set and Joseph gives his predictions, Baker Mayfield is the recipient of the 2017 Heisman Trophy, Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker suffered a serious back injury in last weeks game versus the Cincinnati Bengals.  Are the NFL rule changes ruining the way defense is being played,  ? LaVar Ball has now pulled his sons out of school and promises to have them ready for NBA play. Lastly, Rob Gronkoski, the Buffalo Bills defense and the "hood" are the targets of his weekly rant. Host Joseph Ward gives his perspective on Football Coach Jimbo Fisher leaving Florida State University for Texas A&M, and Florida State Kicker Ricky Aguyo get's into fight on campus. Was Buffalo Bills QB Tyrod Taylor benching justified? The Memphis Grizzles have fired yet another coach, this time David Fizdale got the pink slip, the college football playoff is set and ready for January 1st, I clear up some missing information regarding Gabby Douglas, Aly Raisman, Simone Biles and the sexual assault by former Olympic team doctor Larry Nassar. Kevin Durant realizes racism is real and hurting his people, and Malcolm Jenkins and Anquan Boldin just sold out the players protesting social injustices against black people for $100 Million dollars.
