​In season 4 episode 16 of The Fix Sports Podcast, Joseph shines his HBCU spotlight on Southern University's star goalie  Chioma Eriken who has had a stellar career and given All-MEAC preseason honors. Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck announced his retirement from the NFL on Saturday,  the 2019 college football season started with a rivalry game between the University of Florida and the Miami Hurricanes, Joseph gives an update on the drama between Oakland Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown over the new helmet rule, Joseph also gives information about traumatic brain injures and CTE for the Freedom Train Network's mental health awareness month, the NFL has released it all-time starting offensive and defensive roster; Joseph doesn't agree with the list totally and gives his input. The weekly rant warm-up includes Joseph giving more information and opinion about the partnership with Jay-Z and the NFL, Jermaine Dupri clearing the air about his conversation with Jay-Z about the NFL, and Fox Sports talk show host Marcellus Wiley saying Colin Kaepernick is not black enough to fight for black people. The Weekly Rant is aimed at Russian Tango Dancer Kirill Parshakov for punching his partner/wife in the face because they didn't do well in the competition. Tune in to get your fix!!!!

In episode 15 of The Fix Sports Podcast, Joseph shines his HBCU spotlight on former University of Auburn offensive tackle Calvin Ashley for transferring to FAMU. In a controversial move, Jay-Z Partners with the NFL, Rich Paul Responds to the “Rich Paul Rule” then the NCAA Amends the “Rich Paul Rule”, former NBA player Sebastian Telfair  is sentenced to 3.5 years in prison for a gun charge, Joseph announces the USA FIBA team. In local Tallahassee sports news, former Florida State University great Leroy Smith the former head coach of the Jefferson County football team was abruptly fired, and Houston Rockets GM said James Harden is a better Scorer than Michael Jordan. In the weekly rant, Joseph aims his rage at the ignorant police officers who arrested Georgia State QB because the cops said the bird doo doo on the hood of his car was powered cocaine.

In episode 14 of The Fix Sports Podcast, Joseph shined his HBCU spotlight on former University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Punter Jamie Gillian makes his NFL debut with Browns. Former WNBA player Niele Ivey is hired by the Memphis Grizzlies as an assistant coach, NFL running back Adrian Peterson is in financial debt. In our Life After Sports segment, Joseph had the privilidge of interviewing Dr. Albert Chester II. Dr. Chester is a former quarterback from Florida A&M University, he is now the owner of New Town Pharmacy, the founder of The Capstone Institute, and is running for U.S. Representative, District 5 in the upcoming 2020 elections. Joseph also gave his opinion about the NBA All-Decade team for the 2010's, He gives a synopsis of the 'Brian Banks Film', FIBA basketball Player DJ Cooper is suspended from playing basketball because he failed a drug test that revealed he was pregnant. The Weekly rant is aimed at the NCAA for creating the "Rich Paul Rule", a rule which makes it harder for sports agents to help basketball players. Tune in to get your fix!!!


Dr. Albert Chester's Bio:

Dr. Albert Chester II is a native of Jacksonville, Florida and graduate of Florida A&M University College of Pharmacy and  Pharmaceutical Sciences.  Dr. Chester was the quarterback for the Rattlers in which he received numerous conference honors.  Upon graduating with his PharmD degree, he has served in numerous pharmacist roles and in a variety of pharmacy settings.  In 2017, he opened The Capstone Institute, a post secondary career training school which focuses on training students to become pharmacy technicians.  The Capstone Institute has been featured on MSNBC, The Huffington Post, and numerous news outlets.  In less than two years, The Capstone Institute has trained over 40 students and received The Best Pharmacy Technician Program in 2017 by Florida.com.  In 2018, Dr. Chester opened New Town Pharmacy, an independently owned community/retail pharmacy located on 3416 Moncrief Road.   New Town Pharmacy provides a patient centered service, catering to all the healthcare needs of the individual ranging from free medication consultations, free immunizations, and free medication delivery.  Dr. Chester participates in multiple community activities and sits on a variety of boards ranging from the YMCA to The American Heart Association Health Equity Committee.  His deep desire to serve his community and the state of Florida, has led him to run for U.S. Representative, District 5 in the upcoming 2020 elections.  Dr. Albert Chester is a dedicated husband and father of two sons.

In HBCU news, it turns out the former Florida State University quarterback Deondre Francois will be playing quarterback for Hampton in the fall. Simone Biles wins another metal at the 2019 US Classic, Simone Manuel becomes first American woman to sweep 50 and 100 freestyle at the worlds swimming competition, the 2019 NFL Hall of Fame class was enshrined on Saturday, the NFL Top 100 is complete and Aaron Donald is ranked #1, Portland Trailblazers' CJ McCullum gets a 100 million extension, and Should Carmello Anthony have another chance to play in the NBA? Also, every August is Mental Health Awareness month for the Freedom Train Network. The Cleveland Browns’ Chris Hubbard hopes to tackle the negative stigma around mental health. The Dallas Cowboys and running back Ezekiel Elliott are at odds with a contract dispute that has led to Elliott holding out. Former Michigan State University President Lou-Anna Simon is retiring on August 31st after being caught lying in the Larry Nassar sexual assault case. The Monday Rant is aimed at Jason Whitlock and Skip Bayless. Whitlock took it upon himself to tell LeBron James to "sit your ass down" after seeing LeBron participate in his son's basketball teams layup line. Tune in to get your fix!!!
