On December 6th the United States found itself on the wrong end of International backlash regarding its decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. This move sent the international community into a rage with the United Nations and some of the United States closest allies issuing statements of criticism and condemnation. Recently this saga continued with the United Nations Security Council seeking to pass a resolution asking countries not to establish diplomatic missions in Jerusalem only to have that resolution Vetoed by the US.
