​Dr. Danyelle Williams is the Pharmaceutical Program Manager with the Florida Department of Health Bureau of Public Health Pharmacy. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Florida State University in 2011 and later received a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Florida A&M University College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2015.
Upon completion of her pharmacy degree, Dr. Williams gained experience as a retail pharmacist with Publix Pharmacy and as a clinical pharmacist with Encompass Health where she was instrumental in the implementation of in-patient medication counseling. In June 2017, Dr. Williams completed a 2 year Pharmacy Practice Fellowship with Florida A&M University specializing in HIV Management. Her training included providing HIV treatment consultations with providers, managing direct patient care for the AIDS Drug Assistance Program, and teaching coursework in the areas of HIV and infectious disease in the College of Pharmacy. During this time, Dr. Williams became certified with the American Academy of HIV Medicine as a Practicing HIV Pharmacist.
In addition to her responsibilities with the Department of Health, Dr. Williams currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Florida A&M University College of Pharmacy where she is committed to the academic and professional development of future pharmacy leaders.
Dr. Williams is dedicated to educating the underserved community on HIV prevention and provide insight into pharmacological treatment options for those living with HIV/AIDS. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. In her spare time, she enjoys providing health services at community health fairs with FAMU College of Pharmacy, volunteering with Leon County Public Schools, and mentoring young girls.
