Tammie Houston now Houston Irvine is a nurse by trade illustrating her heart for people and public service. She currently works as a resource nurse in one of the fastest growing healthcare systems.

Through this venture, she has found the need and wants to further service the community by focusing on politics and its relevance to healthcare. With 10 + years of nursing experience in various areas, she intends to make a significant impact catapulting change in national healthcare, subsequently enhancing the potential to actualize a small part of her dream to own her own hospital and become a prominent member of multiple Women's Health Boards.

Tammie also dabbles in promoting, event planning, editing and mentoring. She serves a board member of Pacts Inc. LLC. Her boisterous voice and upbeat fun personality can be found on the podcast, TeaTime: Black Women Talk hosted by Freedom Train Radio...Be sure to check in every Friday as she co-hosts with 4 other Talented Empyreal Awakened (TEA) Black Women coming to the table to share their T.I.M.E. Theories, Ideas, Mindset and bring Evolution to the table. Sip, Sip, Caution it might be HOT!

Affectionately known as "Tam" to loved ones; Tammie attempts to live up to the Hebrew meaning of her name: "perfection."  Often putting an "S" on her chest, she embodies the meaning of "consul." She is very PROUD to be known as the WIFE of an awesome husband- Patrick Irvine (Co-Founder of Freedom Train Radio & Executive Director of Pacts Inc. Tea Time's sponsor) and mother 3 beautiful boys along with a loyal furbaby.  She is commited to family and takes PRIDE in her leadership as the eldest sister of 8 brothers and sisters and adores her extremely supportive parents. She leaves no-one behind keeping her circle of friends close, in addition to doting on her nieces, nephews, godchildren and elderly, respected family members.

AMBITIOUS, TENACIOUS, COMPASSIONATE, Tammie enjoys dance, culture, and travel. She likes to think of herself as open-minded coining the phrase, "The world can only be held by the person that holds it in mind."
