Today's guest on Plugged In by Chelsea Francois was Professor Carl Tone Jones the creator of The Independence Day Project. The Independence Day is about creating a shared vision of Black independence from the systems of control that have created stagnation instead of progress towards an independently self-sufficient Black community. Several documentaries have corrected the misgivings of our cultural contributions and historical status as they have presented truth to shed light on the propagated lies as seen in the media and textbook accounts of Africans in  America so we stand on their shoulders as we present a movie that will take the discussion to the next point in it's progression, the future.

This movie project is a game changer as it not only rehash the history but we will also present a vision of what a liberated Black community would resemble and by utilizing the Nine Areas of Human Activity as described by Dr. Neely Fuller we will present a road map on how to get there.
