Spencer R. Henderson launched his film production company, Spencer R. Henderson Films in his last year as an undergraduate student at FAMU’s School of Journalism and Graphic Communication. After graduating from an accredited journalism program, Spencer R. Henderson only received one job offer. During his first media job as a multi-media journalist with WTXL-ABC Channel 27, Spencer began shooting and producing his first documentary movie, The Show Will Go On, “The 125th Anniversary”. A film that explores the HBCU’s 125th year. Fueled by an unfair and outspoken news director Spencer quit working for ABC and began pursuing his dream of becoming a full-time director/entrepreneur.
