My Name Jessica Denise Doster, I am the 34 year old proud mother of two very Handsome young men, current ages 13 and 14 years old. I was born January 29th 1985 to Cora Lee Dilworth and James Charles Doster. I grew up in Quincy and Gretna , Florida. I was raised with 6 other siblings; me being number 6 of my mother's 7 children(3 girls and 4 boys) .
We grew up very poor financially, but my mother's constant and consistent Faith in God caused us to feel rich even in out hand me downs. As a teenager, I didn't only want to feel rich, but BE rich, and I never wanted my children to face the struggles me and my siblings did growing up so I started working and saving at the young age of 12 with a summer job at a paper mill shredding paper and was never without a job since. I Graduated High school in 2003 from Greensboro High School in Greensboro Fl. Right after school I chose to join the military; Army to be exact. I spent 2 years in before I was Medically and Honorably discharged. I then returned home to Gadsden County where I married my high school sweetheart. I attended Pat Thomas Law Enforcement Academy in 2007 and graduated and became a Law Enforcement Officer in 2008. Didn't like it so I went into Nursing for 4 years. Then finally went to Lively Technical Institution for Massage Therapy 2012 and became a Licensed Massage Therapist and started my own Massage Practice in September of 2013. I ran a very successful business for 5 years in Tallahassee, Florida (Jessica's Blessed Hands)before uprooting and moving to Bakersfield, California to start new dreams and endeavors, while still being very motivated by and supportive of my Tallahassee family of Entrepreneurs, family, friends and associates. I'm currently Not exactly where I want to be in life, but I'm definitely where I'm supposed to be. Facebook :Jessica's Blessed Hands Email: [email protected]

Sonya Dunbar, also known as the Geriatric Toothfairy is a Registered Dental Hygienist she has and over 25 years of dental experience in private practice, skilled nursing facilities, academia and marketing and has proudly served her country in the United States Navy. For the last 16 years, she worked in long-term care facilities both as a Dental Hygienist providing clinical treatment and as a staff trainer providing in-services and hands-on training to the staff and we cannot forget her very entertaining seminars packed with valuable information on Geriatric oral care. That experience has afforded her the opportunity to learn the concerns, desires, needs and expectations of patients and their families as well as those of facility staff and administration. Her experience also created a desire in her to do things better to improve the quality of care and level of customer service provided to residents, staff and administration of long-term care facilities. Email: [email protected] How poor oral care is KILLING our Geriatric population, how access to Mobile dentistry can change that - Sonya Dunbar MHA RDH Abstract Many residents in nursing homes have trouble receiving adequate dental care because of unique oral care challenges, such as cognitive skill, poor staff training about oral care, and difficult clinical situations that arise such as diabetes. High dental cost also presents a huge obstacle, since Medicaid and Medicare pay very little for dental services. Another challenge is getting residents in wheelchairs and Jeri chairs to the dental office and into a dental chair. Oral health has a significant impact on physical health and mental health including self-esteem and overall quality of life. In addition, there are many systemic diseases that have been directly linked to poor oral health such as aspirated pneumonia which sends many elderly people living in nursing homes to the hospital it is also probably the most common sequelae of poor oral health in the aged person. The plaque build-up on teeth has been found in the lungs of residents with pneumonia due to poor oral care. Access to oral care is not only needed but critical for most seniors living in long-term care facilities. Mobile dentistry is now on the rise to provide this much-needed care. She is the Owner and Founder of Mind Over Matter Holistic Healing LLC. On Sunday March 31st, 2019 her 20th birthday, she launched her business focusing on creating products that are made to penetrate the mind, body, and spirit using 100% all-natural herbal ingredients. Throughout her life she witnessed many family members struggling with disease and being forced to take a multitude of medications. In seeing this, it fueled her flame of interest in the world of herbal healing. As herbs were once used to primarily heal many ailments, she decided to erect those past practices and implement them in her life today. Putting her own twist on medicine, and applying what she knows, she has been able to provide multiple topical salves, and body products focusing on leaving out the bad and illegible ingredients. Those who knew of her interest would ask her to make them things here and there, later sharing their findings with others. She eventually started making her version of "staple products" (June 2018), and that is when everything changed. Thus, the birth of Mind Over Matter Holistic Healing LLC (March 2019). It is her belief that healing starts from within and should be paired with the medicine that is most natural and could be found at your footsteps. She says: “When using these products, I hope you will keep in Mind what it is you want out of the product. What would you like it to do for you? Clear your Mind...take a deep breath... set good, positive intentions...and allow the product to aid you in your time of need!” Social Media Instagram: @mmholisticllc Twitter: @mmholisticllc Facebook: @mmholisticllc Email: [email protected] Click the button below to learn more abour HolisticMM LaShaundra Cromotee is a wife and mother of 6. I am honored to be the creator of all natural, organic, and vegan friendly products that help people from all walks of life who are suffering from skin and scalp conditions that greatly affect the quality of their life. I started making natural soap and curly hair care products in 2015 when I was simply at the end of my rope, searching for just a few things that could make my life easier as a mom. I have three daughters who have suffered from eczema and scalp sores and myself from severely dry hair and skin, which are symptoms of living with Hypothyroidism. After years of making YouTube videos utilizing other products from large companies and finding myself switching from product to product and still not quite getting the results I wanted, I began my own research on how to make what they were making, but in an all-natural way that would not cause further allergic reactions to my children. That was the beginning of what is now GG Naturals. The skin is our largest organ and chemicals get dissolved into the skin within minutes of touching us, so take 15 seconds to read and know what you are buying. I also encourage people to contact me with any questions they have if they are feeling uncomfortable to make a choice on their own. I discovered activated charcoal when looking for a natural alternative to toothpaste. I researched the benefits and to my surprise, I found that it is good for acne. I made a small batch and used my husband as a guinea pig. He fell in love with it from the first use and it is still his favorite to this day. His skin looks smoother than it has in years and he talks a lot about the lather of that soap has. He tells everyone who will listen how great it is and once they get a whiff of the lemongrass fragrance, they are hooked too. My future goal for GG Naturals is to become a household name. We are so proud to have been featured in Afiya Magazine! I love nature and I love to learn and teach. My girls and I have learned so much about natural things that can be added to our body lotions and soaps to help the skin look great. I also teaching others how to build businesses by making things that are truly all natural and beneficial for their family’s skin. People want to feel confident in their skin, and GG Naturals is helping them to do that by providing eco-friendly products. |
