Robert Desmond McNeil Jr. (June 13, 1988) Tallahassee, Fl. native. Parents Robert Sr. and Eileen Mutch. I have six siblings(3 brothers & 3 sisters). I grew up in the inner city of Florida's capital, living below the poverty line. Even though we didn't possess much we made do with what we had. My early childhood was a pleasant one minus the dark circumstances hovering my home. In my preteen phase, life shifted downhill. We became homeless enduring a storm neither me nor single parent tribe was ready for. Although faced with adversity we improvised and eventually prevail the hardship. What came next shook my entire world I suffered a stroke, which paralyze my left side.
I under went two open head surgeries where they had to drain fluid and mucus from my brain. After treatment and rehab I recuperated, chapters of my story deepen. I started to take an interest into the life of crime which consumed me. The seeds that were sown in the street reaped a ten year sentence inside Florida department of correction. There is where I began to define myself as a whole. Going through my transitional period I learned to channel my years of depression, pain, anger, and neglect through writing. Once released from the plantation I didn't revert back to the cesspool of the underworld. Daily I was faced challenges that were tempting to lure me back into the cycle. Refusing to be victim I ventured a different path which allowed me to published my first book Confine Thoughts.
