Allison Joy August-McDaniel was born to Charles S. August, Sr. and Altermease S. Nesbitt in a small town called Perry, Florida.  After being educated in the Taylor County School System, she became certified in Nursing Assistance and Computerized Accounting from Branell Institute of Tallahassee, Florida.  She later completed the Practical Nursing Program and the Cosmetology Program at Altamaha Technical College of Jesup, Georgia and is presently enrolled at Armstrong Atlantic State University, Savannah, Georgia pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Education from Trinity Temple College of Religion in 2015.

She is married to Anthony T. McDaniel, Sr.; they have seven children and twelve grandchildren.  She’s a people’s person, full of joy, and loves to praise the Lord.  Allison accepted the Lord at an early age.  She is a member of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church where she serves a Minister in Training, Praise dancer, Mime, choir member, the Nurses’ Guild and was ordained as a Deaconess in 2011.  She is also a Mentor, Actor, Handy Woman, Entrepreneur, Runner, Notary Public, and Motivator.

Allison moved to Hinesville, Georgia in October of 1994.  She began working as a Nursing Assistant at Sunrise Nursing home in Jesup, Ga and later Glenvue Nursing home in Glennville, GA.  Finding it difficult to gain employment in a military based community, she remembered she knew how to braid hair.  She became employed at Hair of Paradise, a beauty Salon, starting her career as a Hair Stylist.  While employed there, she landed part-time employment at Brown’s Tax & Accounting preparing Tax returns.  Allison was later employed by Nu-Image Barber and Beauty Salon, Unlimited Taxes and More, New Beginning Barber and Beauty Salon, and LBS Tax Services.  Allison is currently the Founder, Owner, and Co-owner of All-Is-On Enterprises which consist of All-Is-On Beauty Salon, All-Is-On Income Tax Services and more, Mack-canik Kutz Barber Studio, A Timeless Memory Photography, and Rent “A” Bounce Services with her husband Anthony.

Allison began her acting career in 2011 performing a skit for the 2011 Vision Awards.  She and her husband made their first theatrical debut in January of 2013 where she played the role of “Katie”, a prayer warrior, in the Gospel Stage Play “When the Soul of a Woman Cries”, while her husband played the role of the Doctor.  She recently played the role of the actor “Clairee” in the hit stage play Steel Magnolia’s of this year.

In August of this year, she began writing her book, “Silent Talks from the Heart,” dedicated to her oldest daughter, Archaie and to all single mothers.  The book is a true story inspired from her experience with Peer Pressure and Teenage Pregnancy.  In this book, she states in the dedication, “to listen to your “HEART” for it will never lead you wrong.”

Allison’s motto is, “the only thing I can’t do is that that I haven’t tried’.
