We design and hand make clothing, jewelry, and accessories. We also host an annual fashion premier the first weekend in November called Tallahassee African Fashion Weekend. This production is committed to featuring African fashion, art, and culture. Tallahassee African Fashion Week is a North Florida based company powered by Kuumba Creations, LLC. Founded in 2016 by Kandis Maureen, fashion designer for Kuumba Creations, LLC. Since its inception TAFW has continued its mission to promote African Fashion, Art, and Cultural trends within the African Diaspora. The company also makes financial contributions to Tallahassee based charities and aspires to provide scholarships to students entering their first year of college in the near future. TAFW sole purpose is to promote businesses within the African Diaspora by creating an affordable, lucrative platform that bridges the gap between buyers & investors, facilitates networking opportunities, and fosters an atmosphere of entertainment that is inspiring and celebrates traditional & modern African Fashion, Art, and Culture.
