When you change your mindset, you change your life. Start today. - Queen Candace, respoken!
On today's episode of ShelbysWorld, we decided to take a full Mental Day. As a human being if you don't take the time to fill up your own well, it will run dry continuing to pour into others. I needed that day. Queen C. needed that day. So today instead of taking the time to pour, we're receiving. If you haven't done it for yourself lately, do it as soon as possible.
Fact of the Day:
Most people think of Rosa Parks as the first person to refuse to give up their seat on a bus in Montgomery, Alabama. There were actually several women who came before her; one of whom was Claudette Colvin.
It was March 2, 1955, when the fifteen-year-old schoolgirl refused to move to the back of the bus, nine months before Rosa Parks’ stand that launched the Montgomery bus boycott. http://www.pbs.org/black-culture/explore/10-black-history-little-known-facts/
