During her tenure as a teacher, she was instrumental in helping the district earn Exemplary Status for an infused African American Curriculum from the State of Florida’s Task Force on African American History.

Born on March 17, 1982, Shelby Davis shares her life with her husband Darian and three wonderful children, Jada, Erika, and Cason. Shelby is a huge advocate for the senior and youth community and continues that as a Chef for an assisted living facility where she not only prepares culinary skills, she provides social activity for their lives through the food, and Link Up, a community-based program she started with her husband.
