Hey y’all. We had a wonderful discussion on the show today about courting and dating. The dynamics of dating vs. courting has shifted dramatically this day and age. Simply put, the time before a relationship starts when the couple gets to know one another, with little or no intimacy, is courting!
There are generally 4 stages of courtship: Stage 1: Initial meeting/ attraction Stage 2: Curiosity, Interest and infatuation Stage 3: Enlightenment, and becoming a couple Stage 4: Commitment and/or Engagement They may not necessarily go in this direct order because the rhyme or reason falls on the two people involved but dating isn’t to marry, however courtship can lead to dating to marry, but that’s going to depend on how your courting.
