My name is Wallisha Berry, I am a wife and a mother to 5 amazing children. My desire to do birth work was conceived long before I moved to Tallahassee. I am a native of Ohio, and that is where my journey as a doula began. I am certified in each of the following five areas, as a SMC full circle doula, a Birth Assistant, a Mixxedfit group instructor, and as a Homebirth and breastfeeding advocate. I am currently working directly with Crowning Midwifery as one of their direct birth assistants. I was featured on the Black News Channel segment called “being a woman” to speak about encouraging more black women to give birth at home vs going to the hospital. In 2018, I was also featured in the Afyia Magazine to promote the importance of physical exercise while pregnant and to share my fourth Homebirth story. I am the co-founder of Vegan Rainbow Eats, and occasionally participate by preparing and selling vegan meals as a vendor at the Frenchtown Farmers market. In my spare time I enjoy all genres of dance, reading and writing, and I also aspire to become a bestselling author.
